Dr. Matthew Kent brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to child-centered mediation. As a retired Army officer and a former special education teacher with over a decade of experience in neurodivergent classrooms, he understands that family transitions require more than legal expertise—they require deep empathy and a commitment to the child's developmental journey. His transition into mediation was fueled by a desire to provide families with a more constructive alternative to adversarial litigation. By leveraging his background in Ph.D. level research and public administration, Dr. Kent helps parents navigate complex emotional landscapes to craft sustainable agreements that prioritize stability, respect, and the long-term well-being of every child involved.
